Hope in Honduras - by Kat DaileyOur mission team is known as a brigade in Honduras. This year at every clinic, members of our group were told by patients that they had been praying for a brigade to come to their community. When we set up a clinic in a community, we do not have expensive equipment or magic medications or the ability to perform surgery. What we do have is our time and our presence to give to these patients. Even these small gifts have the ability to provide hope to people in dire situations. I would like to tell you story of one little girl that we will call Maria. |

Students Receive Backpack BlessingYesterday, students at St. John's received a special blessing and a tag for their backpacks as a reminder that God is with them as they return to school. |

Kickoff SundayKickoff Sunday is September 7th. Sunday school, for the 2025-2026 year, will begin at 9:15 am (and end at 10:10 am). Everyone is invited to stay for a picnic lunch directly following the 10:30 am service. St. John's will provide hamburgers and hot dogs.
There will be water inflatables for the children, so do not forget to bring swimsuits and beach towels.

Sunday School Registration Now OpenSt. John's Sunday School classes are held each Sunday morning at 9:15. Please register your child for the new Sunday school year (2025-2026). All forms are due no later than Kickoff Sunday (September 7).

Items Needed for Silent AuctionThe Bazaar will be here before you know it and Silent Auction needs your help. Please consider donating items that will encourage competitive bidding. Paintings, signed prints, decorative arts, home accessories and jewelry are just a few examples of items that sell well. Donations can be brought to the church educational building and left with a staff member or under the stairs on the first floor. Please mark the items as “Silent Auction”.
