Please pray for our Honduras Mission Team as they begin their travels this week. There are six team members arriving in Honduras on July 23 to begin the preparations needed for a week of clinics with 13 more team members flying in on July 26. The first clinic will be July 27 and there will be five other clinics in various communities during the week. The St. John’s team will be joined by thirty to forty Honduran team members who will work alongside them.

The team includes Jon & Kat Dailey, Mark & Mitzi Waldo, Bob Canter, Will Gunter, Chuck Ocheltree, Chris Paul, Lauren Jones, Ava Thomas, Evan Dailey, Elizabeth Henderson, Grace McIntosh, Tommy Whitworth, Mary Ann Sellers, Heather Sherrard, Cheri Janning, Tammy Reece, and Linda Coulter.

Here are some updates from the team:

July 24: We had our first full day of clinic preparations. We packaged medications and sorted supplies with the help of many Honduran team mates. We counted pills from 8 - 1130 a.m. Chuck sat at a table with three 8 year olds that counted and stayed focused for the entire time. He learned how to count in Spanish and the 8 year olds learned how to count medications in 3s.

July 27: The Honduras mission team had a great day. We began with a church service at Espíritu Santo followed by our first clinic at the church.
