So stewardship. We think that stewardship is not just about money; it is about giving.
It is about the giving of many things--prayers, service, attention, time, love, and of course money too. All are important.
Although Chris and I travel often on weekends, St. John remains our home. We give to St. John’s because we can. We give because we have been blessed. We give because St. John’s needs to budget for the year ahead. We give because we trust St. John’s to use the money to glorify God and to care for others in the community. We give because we and all our possessions belong to God. We give because He tells us to give. We are all better off if we do what Jesus tells us to do. And He will provide.
